Hospital lobbyists are hopeful that the Democratic majority in the House will be favorable to the industry on issues such as 340B. On the other side of the hill, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) moves back to head the Finance Committee, where he’ll have considerable influence over the HHS budget. Unknown is how much of an impact the wave of new members—38% of whom are women—will have on legislation and oversight.
